OVERVIEW

OCASA is happy to host the Oakland After School Job Board, a place to post jobs and resumes for the Oakland after school community. Launched in August 2006 in preparation for a new school year and eventual implementation of Prop 49, the job board is meant to be a place where organizations and individuals can find each other. In the board, there are separate sections: (1) for organizations to list openings; and (2) for individuals to post resumes and/or descriptions of the type of work they are seeking.

MORE DETAILS-

This job board is hosted as a public discussion board. At present, it is currently unmoderated, meaning that anyone can post to the board.

While you do not need to register to post to the board, we encourage everyone to register. Registration is done through the board and involves entering a username, password, email address and decoding an online image to verify that you are a human (really). Once you register, an email will automatically be sent to you. Reply to that email and registration will be complete. Once you are fully registered, it is easier to enter and edit your posts in the future.

Messages posted will expire in 30 days.

The board will be monitored and if necessary, its status will be changed its status to help avoid spamming or inappropriate material.

If you have any trouble posting or suggestions for improving the board, please see contact information on the bottom of OCASA’s main page.
